This little fun Christmas tree by JBW I stitched already sometime ago for myself. It was now time to put it in frames and showcase it. Just love the simplicity of JBW designs. Would love to have a few others too...

Design: A Very Merry Christmas by JBW Designs Stitched on linen by Dovestitches with DMC threads |
This Christmas tree I wanted to stitch as gift in an exchange but being the perfectionist I am couldn't give it. Wasn't really happy with the bottom of the tree, it was surprisingly difficult to sew. The design is a freebie and it's worth to go and check the Italian blog by
La Comtesse where I found it. Lots and lots of nice and easy to do designs!!
I also managed to finish a long time WIP recently. The cute couple of mice under the street lamp woke a lot of attention at our cross stitch meeting last Saturday. I have a certain feel of love with these cuties myself!

I believe there is another Christmas themed design I haven't shown around here as well.

Today I baked a snowflake shaped cake. Yum it was so good! Basic sponge cake flavoured with cocoa powder. To add the snow affect there's some icing sugar dusted on top of it.
